Ferntree Park Opening Celebration

Come along next Saturday to the Grand Opening Celebration at Ferntree Park, Drouin.
The $2 million dollar park features an abundance of thoughtfully landscaped gardens and lawn, architecturally designed BBQ and picnic areas, meandering footpaths, tranquil nooks, adventure play equipment, toilets, basketball courts, and bike and scooter trails. Our creative Landscaping designers have carefully curated a wide selection of native vegetation that will bring life and beauty to the park for years to come, and even an edible garden adjacent to the BBQ area!
LandGipps is incredibly proud to finally reveal Drouin’s newest park, and has planned a Grand Opening extravaganza, starting with an official opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting at 9.30am hosted by local legend Adrian Darakai. Adrian will also entertain us with a rendition of his comedic, locally inspired hit, “Kicking Back at Ferntree” and maybe even an encore performance of “One Way in Warragul”. Following the official opening, LandGipps invites you to attend a fun-filled morning of activities, live music and delicious food.
A range of free kids activities will be available throughout the day, including Luke & Kim’s Face Painting & Balloon Twisting, a treasure hunt for LandGipps lolly bags and a footy skills workshop; and don’t forget to explore the amazing adventure playground! LandGipps will also provide free party food for the kids, with popcorn, snow cones, and fairy floss from Madison’s Magical Pop’n Floss. There will also be a fundraising sausage sizzle provided by the Drouin Lions club, and coffee and potato twisters available for purchase.
Jo’s Acoustic Live Music is excited to perform in the LandGipps tent on the lawn area throughout the day, so bring along a picnic rug, grab a coffee and settle in for the morning!
Gippsland’s Largest Display Village will be open, and our display village builders are joining the festivities. Stop by Metricon for a kids showbag, or Beachwood homes to enter the $500 colouring competition. See you there!
